Welcome to the Kettleburgh Village Green Website

About the Village Green

The Village Green is managed as a charity by the Kettleburgh Green Trust (KGT) (Charity No. 1110467) which is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the green.  The KGT has to raise money from donations, fundraising events and occasional grants to cover the costs of running the green, including  maintenance, insurance and safety inspections. Support comes from villagers by way of KGT Lottery subscribers and people donating their time and money.

The KGT trustees are, since April 2022, Joan Cook, Roger Clarke and Trevor Jessop.

The Village Green Mission Statement

The Trustees must apply the income of the Charity in the furthering of the following:-

Conserving and maintaining Kettleburgh Village Green and its natural biodiversity and wildlife for the public benefit

Providing a community garden for the benefit of the inhabitants of the village and

Providing facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for those who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity, social or economic circumstances or for the publis at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life.
